Why HabitLead
A habit tracker that respects you — completely
🔒
Your private iCloud, not our server
Every habit and check-in is stored in your own private iCloud account and synced across your devices. We run no servers and have no way to access, read, or sell your data. Privacy isn't a promise here — it's the architecture.
🧩
Four kinds of habit
Check it off, count toward a target, run a built-in timer, or keep a clean streak for things you're avoiding. Each habit works the way that habit actually works.
⌚
Standalone Apple Watch app
Check in straight from your wrist with gentle haptics — no phone needed. The Watch app syncs through the same private iCloud, independently.
🔔
Reminders that respect your day
Schedule-aware reminders scheduled entirely on your device. No push servers, no message ever leaving your phone.
📈
Streaks & honest stats
Schedule-aware streaks that don't break on your off days, a contribution heatmap, and weekly progress — all computed on-device.
🪶
No account. No ads. Ever.
No sign-up, no email, no advertising identifiers, no behavioural tracking. Open the app and start — your history is always yours to keep.

1. Overview
HabitLead ("we", "our", "the app") is a habit-tracking app for iPhone and Apple Watch, created by Arman Omidi Khalaki under the Giliki family of apps. HabitLead is built on a single principle: your personal data belongs to you. This policy applies to HabitLead only; other apps in the Giliki family have their own policies. This policy explains exactly what is stored, where it lives, and what we — the developer — can and cannot see. The short version: your habit data is stored in your own private Apple iCloud account, we operate no servers of our own, and we have no technical ability to access, read, or sell your data.
2. Where your data lives
Your habit data — including habit names, icons, colors, schedules, reminders, daily check-ins, logged values, notes, and streaks — is stored using Apple's SwiftData framework in your device's local storage and in your private CloudKit database. CloudKit's private database is part of your personal iCloud account. This means:
Your data is stored on your device and in your own iCloud account.
It syncs automatically across your own Apple devices — for example, between your iPhone and your Apple Watch — through your iCloud account.
We, the developer, do not operate any server that receives, stores, or processes your habit data. We cannot see it, retrieve it, or share it, because it never passes through any infrastructure we control.
Your data is handled under Apple's iCloud terms and security. You can review Apple's privacy practices at apple.com/legal/privacy.
A small set of appearance preferences (your chosen accent color, background style, and light/dark setting) is stored in your iCloud key-value storage so your look follows you across devices. This too lives in your own iCloud account and contains no personal information.
Because we operate no servers, we retain no personal data of our own. Your data is retained in your own iCloud account for as long as you choose to keep it.
3. Data we do not collect
We do not collect your name, email address, or any personal identifiers.
We do not require or offer an account, login, or sign-up.
We do not access Apple Health or HealthKit data.
We do not access your microphone, camera, photos, or contacts.
We do not track or request your location.
We do not use advertising identifiers (IDFA).
We do not serve ads, and we never sell or share your data.
4. Reminders and notifications
If you choose to enable reminders, HabitLead schedules local notifications directly on your device using Apple's notification system. No reminder content is ever transmitted to us or to any third party — the scheduling happens entirely on your device.
5. Subscriptions and payment data
HabitLead offers an optional premium upgrade. All purchases are processed entirely through Apple's App Store — we never see or store your payment information. Subscription and purchase status is managed by RevenueCat, Inc., which verifies your entitlement using an anonymous, app-specific identifier. RevenueCat may also process technical data (such as device type, operating system version, and subscription events) necessary to validate purchases. We do not share your name, email, or Apple ID with RevenueCat. You can review RevenueCat's privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy.
6. Crash and diagnostic data
If you have enabled sharing of diagnostics with developers in your device settings, Apple may provide us with anonymized crash reports. These contain no personally identifiable information — only technical details such as device model, iOS version, and the code location of a crash — and are used solely to find and fix bugs. You can disable this at any time in your device's privacy settings.
7. Children
HabitLead is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and because we collect no personal data on any server, we do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you believe a child has somehow provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will address it promptly.
8. Your rights and control
Because your data lives in your own iCloud account and on your device, you are always in direct control of it. Deleting a habit removes it and its history. Deleting the app removes it from your device. To permanently remove your HabitLead data from iCloud, open Settings → your Apple Account → iCloud → Manage Account Storage → HabitLead, and delete the app's data. We hold no copy to delete on our side, because we never had one.
9. California residents (CCPA) & EU/UK residents (GDPR)
We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not maintain any server-side store of your personal data. California residents have the right to know what personal information a business holds and to request its deletion; in our case, we hold none. EU and UK residents likewise retain full rights over their data, which remains within their own iCloud account under Apple's data processing terms.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
By downloading or using HabitLead, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. Description of service
HabitLead is an iOS and watchOS application for tracking personal habits. It provides daily check-ins, multiple habit types, schedules, reminders, streaks, and progress statistics. Your data is stored in your own private iCloud account, as described in our Privacy Policy.
3. General wellness, not professional advice
HabitLead is a general productivity and wellness tool. It does not provide medical, psychological, financial, or other professional advice, and is not a substitute for guidance from a qualified professional. You are responsible for the habits you choose to track and for your own wellbeing.
4. Free tier, trial, and subscription
HabitLead offers a free tier with core functionality, an introductory full-access trial period, and an optional premium upgrade ("HabitLead Premium"). Premium may be offered as an auto-renewing subscription (billed monthly or annually) and/or as a one-time lifetime purchase, through your Apple ID.
Auto-renewing subscriptions are charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase and renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in your Apple ID account settings. No refunds are provided for partial periods, except where required by law.
If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when a premium purchase is made, and a trial automatically converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled before it ends.
A lifetime purchase is a one-time payment that unlocks premium features for the current version and form of the app; it does not guarantee perpetual availability of the service.
Current pricing is shown in the app and on the App Store and may change over time; any change applies only to future billing periods.
5. Your data and the privacy guarantee
HabitLead stores your data in your own private iCloud account. We do not operate servers that hold your habit data and cannot access it. Because of this, the integrity, availability, and backup of your data depend on your Apple iCloud account and Apple's services. We are not responsible for data loss arising from iCloud account issues, device failure, or changes you make to your iCloud storage.
6. Free tier limitations
The free tier provides core habit tracking with a limited number of active habits. Premium unlocks unlimited active habits and additional features. Your full habit history always remains visible to you — we do not lock you out of data you have already recorded.
7. Acceptable use
You agree to use HabitLead only for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except to the extent permitted by applicable law.
8. Intellectual property
All content and design within HabitLead — including its interface, habit-type system, and visual design — is the intellectual property of HabitLead and its creator. All rights reserved.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific requirements.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, HabitLead and its creator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of data, arising from your use of or inability to use the app.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms as the app evolves. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
